In my 20 years as a massage therapist Ive found that 98% of my clients are stressed out for one reason or another. It affects their mindset, their bodies, and they forget who they really are at a deeper level than they allow themselves to go. What causes the stress is the way that they percieve and react to any given situation. Everything that you attract into your life is a result of your thinking. Ive seen how it has affected my life as well.
Your mind, body, and soul all need to be in perfect balance for you to live a stress free and fulfilled life. They all have to work together in perfect flow. Your mind ( your beliefs) is what rules your life. Your thoughts are the determining factor of how healthy you are, how successful you are, they determine your perception of stressful situations, your thoughts connect you to something far greater than yourself. Knowing that everything is energy ( including your thoughts), what you think about, or believe is what you will attract into your life, whether it’s how healthy you are and how happy you are.
When you let your ‘monkey mind’ control your life it effects what you attract, including your health. If you don’t have your health, nothing else really matters… Im not saying that you can just think you’re healthy. There are still little things you need to do to keep your body functioning right. I am saying though that if you continually think that it hurts, or you will come down with this or that, whatever it is, you will manifest it. Your mind programs your body. Your mind programs your life! The great news is that you have control over your mind.
When you’re stressed out it’s your body telling you that there’s something more for you in your life… There’s something to let go of, something to change, or something you desire to bring into your life. Maybe you need to break a habit, spend more time on yourself, let someone go, bring someone into your life, spend more quality time with your family, get yourself healthier, change how you think or react… or maybe to connect with that deeper part of you that is so amazing, that was created by Someone or something far greater than you could ever imagine, and is always with you. You are connected to that Higher Power that created all that is, in all its beauty and mystery.
With all of the stress Ive seen in my clients, experienced in my own life, and see in the world, its become my mission to do my part to end human suffering by helping people find peace in themselves and in their lives. The beauty of that is when you find peace in yourself and in your life you see magic in your life and it brings peace to the world. Maybe in a small way, but if everyone did one little thing to stop being stressed out it would be a HUGE impact on the world.
Im here to tell you that its possible! You may say that you don’t have time or that your life is just the way it is and always will be, or you can say you can’t do it, you’re cheating yourself out of life, your cheating all of those who care about you, your cheating the world…. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain…. and it doesn’t have to be hard. Theres simple steps you can take every day. After you’ve been doing it ( consistently ) for awhile it just becomes your lifestyle…it becomes who you are…. and you wonder why you didn’t do it sooner. 🙂
