How to Stop Being Stressed Out

mind body and soulWouldn’t you love to just know how to stop being stressed out?

When you’re stressed out it’s a sign that it’s time for a change!

For you to be at peace with yourself and your life, you need to give your mind, body, and soul the nurturing that it requires so that life can flow.

Just nourishing one aspect doesn’t cut it, my friend!

It has to be all three!

If you believe that you are capable of anything and can handle anything but you don’t care for your body, you’re going to feel like crap and eventually your going to end up with health problems and not be able to move because your energy is so wound up.

If you take care of your body but not nourishing your mind and soul, you may have more energy and feel okay, but you’re not living your full potential.

If you feel connected to your soul but don’t nurture your mind, you will never live in peace and harmony with yourself and your life.

Stop being stressed out!

It’s time for change!

It’s time to bring something into your life– maybe a new job, a new partner, a move to a new location, a new way of taking care of your body, your spiritual awareness, or maybe just a new perception of yourself and the world around you.

Maybe it’s time to sit down and have an uncomfortable conversation that you’d rather not have at all ( remember that the discomfort of that talk is temporary, whereas not having it can cause you years of discomfort).

Maybe it’s time that you sat down and looked deep in your soul to see just what it is that would bring you peace. Join church or at the very least find someone that inspires you, even if it’s just a book that expands your mind and your mission in life.

Maybe it’s time to let something go from your life– maybe your job, your partner, certain foods that you eat, certain habits, responsibilities, or limiting beliefs.

I know there’s times that you get overwhelmed by all your responsibilities, when you feel like you’re dragging and can’t think straight. When you’re feeling that way, the most valuable thing you can do is to take a moment and check in with yourself to see what’s not getting nourished.

Are you keeping your thoughts and feelings on the good?

Are you nourishing your body and mind with the proper foods? Drinking plenty of water? Stretching to keep the energy flowing? Are you remembering that you are in the hands of a Higher Power? That everything is working in perfect order according to the thoughts you are holding in your mind?

You have the right to be at peace in your life! You also have the responsibility!

You are here as part of a universal creation… meaning that we are all connected and everything that you are energetically putting out there affects everything and everyone across the globe.

So stop being stressed out and have a fabulous day! <3

The Effects of Stress

mind body and soulI’ve been a massage therapist for 18 years and I’ve seen and felt the effects of stress on the mind, on the body, and on the spirit.

Stress has no preference. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you do for a living, most everyone is dealing with stress at some level on a daily basis. Sometimes on a dangerous level, where it’s affecting your health. If your health is in limbo, nothing else really matters.

Hon, when you’re stressed out all of the time, it’s a sign that it’s time for change. It’s time to bring something into your life, it’s time to get rid of something in your life, or it’s time to shift something in your life, even if it’s just a shift in the way you perceive things.

When your stressed out in any area of your life, it affects every area of your life. Nothing is untouched by your stress. It’s your choice to live your life as you have been and keep getting the same results or to make a change and see miracles happen.

When you’re stressed out your mind gives you every reason that you can’t change the situation… you’re too old, you’re too young, you’ve worked too hard to get to where you are, you don’t have the skills, it’s going to be too hard, you don’t have time. It’s all crap! You’ve forgotten that there is a solution to every problem, you’ve forgotten that all of the stress that you have keeps things from flowing and that you are attracting back to you the things that are energetically aligned with what you are putting out there.

When you’re stressed out your muscles get tight and you get so wrapped up in what’s going on around you that you forget to stretch. You forget to drink your water. You don’t take care of your body and you end up hurting, and eventually it’s going to affect your health if you don’t change things. The energy in your body needs to flow in order for your body to function at it’s greatest capacity. That can’t happen when your muscles are tight. That energy can’t flow. Your body needs to be nourished and detoxified with water and the right nutrients.

When you’re stressed out you forget who you really are and what you’re truly capable of. The Higher Power that created this world… and created you, is inside of you in every second of every day. There isn’t anything that you don’t know. It’s all there if you just relax and listen. You are the master of your own life. Each new day gives you a blank slate and YOU make the choice what gets created on that slate!

The effects of stress in your life are keeping you from living a fulfilling life… a life where you are excited about the day and KNOW that there isn’t anything that you can’t accomplish.

Stretch For Your Health


                                         It’s time to stretch for your health!
I know that you’re busy and sometimes ( probably more often than you’ll admit)
you tend to forget about the little things that keep you functioning properly… the
things you need to take the time out for to do for yourself .
 One of those things is stretching! As you grow older your muscles tighten and you
don’t have the flexiblity that you had before. That can put a damper on the things
you do for fun and that also makes it easier for you to get hurt doing the things you
do for fun.
Stretching loosens up your muscles so your energy can flow, to keep you healthy, more productive, and feeling top notch!
 It doesn’t matter if you sit behind a desk or are on your feet all day, stretching is
so important! Just take a few seconds ( that’s not very long) to take a nice,
refreshing stretch. Here are just a few of the benefits of stretching regularly:


  • Reduced muscle tension
  • Increased range of motion
  • Increased muscular coordination
  • Increased circulation
  • Increased energy
  • Stress Relief
Even if you’re working out it’s important to stretch and it doesn’t matter how
young you are. You have this body for the rest of your life, so take care of it.
Don’t be one of those saying that if they’d known they were going to live this
long, they’d have taken care of your body.
 When I give a massage I can tell which of you aren’t stretching. I can feel it in
your muscles. Just do yourself a favor and take the time to stretch. Do it before
you even crawl out of bed . If you can’t remember put a note on the first thing
you see when you open your eyes, then stetch for a few seconds here and there
throughout the day, and then before you go to sleep at nite.
 I will pester you about this because I care and I know how easy it is to forget.
Try to make a habit of it . You’re body will thank you for it.
 On that note, I hope that life is treating you wonderfully and I send you many

Hope For The World

The only way there there will ever be hope for the world is when we all take responsibility for all the stress in our lives and do whatever it takes to bring peace into our own lives.

You’ve lost your vision for the future

Settling for what is

Then being bummed about the way things are.

Everything you see in the world around you, (your life!), is a reflection of the energy that you are carrying around inside of you, in the deepest part of your soul.

Did you ever think that maybe you have this stress because you’re just looking at things are wrong?

Do you think that maybe there’s bit of a possibility that there could be a better way to see things?

That just maybe with just a slight shift in your perception, it could change the whole story?

You don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes in the great scheme of things. None of us do!

Could you just open your mind to the possibility that everything that happens in your life- the good, the bad, and the ugly, is manifested by none other than YOU?

Once you take responsibility for this then you can do something about it.

One step at a time.

It is your right to have peace in your life.

That’s why we are even here.

To discover that part of us that is our higher self.

That part of us that that knows the answer to everything and understands that EVERYTHING is working in perfect order according to the thoughts and beliefs that we have about life and ourselves.

You certainly don’t have anything to lose by opening your heart and mind to this.

You have everything to gain.

It’s absolutely your responsibility to bring peace into your life so that there can be hope for the world.

Everything you think and feel is energy that travels out across the globe, it never stops. It is always in motion causing a shift in the universe. Everything that you see in the world is a reflection of the energy that we, as a whole, are sending out.

There is hope for the world but we need to find peace in our own lives!

I invite you to take one small step to accomplish this, starting today! When you start stressing out about things, catch yourself and think of all the things that you have to be grateful for or go to a happy memory and feel those feelings.

Our greatest weapon against stress is our ability to shift from one thought to another so make this a lifestyle and your whole world will change.

4 Easy Steps to Optimize Your Health

a5165b09a6cab3bc8bab020a6abab9ed   I’d like to share with you 4 easy steps to optimize your health, to have more energy, be more productive, to feel better, and of course, to be healthier.

Just take one step at a time, these are the first steps to stress relief.

In my years as a massage therapist, most every one of my clients have been stressed out and most of the time they are in pain.

They’re in pain because they’re not taking care of their body, so I’m going to give you 4 keys to optimize your health and if you make this a lifestyle you’ll find that the stress fades away little by little and you’re feeling top notch.

Your body is like a machine and it needs maintenance if it’s going to function the way it’s supposed to.

Your body was created in perfection by the Higher Power that created everything, but the way we treat our bodies or the lack of care we give our bodies takes our bodies to a state of restriction.

Right now is the time to take care of your body! Face it, if you don’t have your health, nothing else really matters. Does it?

You have only one body in this lifetime and if you keep putting off taking care of your body, not only are you going to be stiff and sore, ultimately your organs are going to start to malfunction.

I invite you to close your eyes and become aware of your body… does your body feel tight? Is your belly happy? Does the energy seem to be flowing? Can you see how your organs are functioning? Take a minute to feel everything that’s going on.

So let’s explore these 4 steps to optimize your health, to feel healthier, happier, more relaxed, and more energized at the same time.

#1 Take a look at your mindset… This is HUGE!

Your mind is you master. You choose what you think so choose your thoughts wisely. Every thought that you think and every word that you speak programs your body and your mind.

If you’re thinking that, whatever, runs in the family, that thought is what keeps it running in the family.

If you keep telling yourself that you’re hurting, you’re body is acting accordingly.

If you tell yourself that you’re getting sick, then yes, you’re going to get sick.

You change that by first becoming aware of what you’re paying attention to, and make up your mind that only positive and empowering thoughts can take up residence in your mind.

When a negative thought comes into your mind, just shift your thoughts to something happy, whether is a past memory or a dream for the future.

Shift your thoughts to all you have t be grateful for, right here in this moment. You can’t think of the pain or discomfort if you’re having a happy thought. Right?

#2. Drink plenty of water!

Your brain consists of 90% water, you’re muscle consists of 75% water, your bones consist of 22% water, and your blood is 83% water. Every time you take a breath out that water evaporates so you need to replenish it.

Drink half of your body weight in ounces every day and you’ll find yourself feeling more energized, your brain will function better, and you’ll be more productive. You flush out the toxins to feel refreshed. Invite you to try this out for a week. Figure out how much you should be drinking and have it premeasured in a jug and give it your best shot.

#3 Stretch them muscles out!

Your body is energy and when your muscles are all tied up in knots, that energy isn’t flowing anywhere.

How’s the energy supposed to flow to your brain when you’re all tight across the shoulders?

Why do you think you hurt when you decide to do an activity that’s not the norm for you?

How are your organs supposed to function when the energy is constricting them?

It doesn’t have to be some long stretching regime. I know you’re busy, just do it for a few seconds here and there throughout the day. Leave yourself little reminders so that you don’t forget. I encourage you to make it a lifestyle.

#4. Watch what you eat!

Your body needs decent nourishment fro the foods you eat. Try to cut down on the salt, sugar, grease, and flour.Try to eat foods that are organic and not processed.The nutrients in your diet affect your body and your mind.

This is the hardest thing to do but just take baby steps and do what you can. If you travel, drink a glass of water before your meals and fill up on vegetables, keep your portions of meat small, and only eat until you’re full. Got it?

One step at a time is all it takes to optimize your health.

Do it for the people who care about you, but mostly, do it for yourself.

You’re worth the effort. the longer you wait, the harder it’s going to be to undo the pain, tension, and ailments, so start Now! I have faith in you that you can do this.
